Don't Miss the HHC2014 Conference
Hi,

We are around five weeks away from the HHC2014 HP Calculator Conference, to be held on September 20-21st in Reno, Nevada at the Hyatt Place Hotel, very close to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. These annual affairs are always interesting and since we are expecting both Tim Wessman and Cyrille de Brebisson from HP, this should be a great opportunity to get all the latest info on HP Prime doings and whatever else they might wish to share with us. For additional information on registering and such, check here.

See you in September,

Jake

Boy, I hope Eric Smith can make it this year, to enlighten us on any "DIY" calculator progress.

Geoff, I bet many people look forward to your book (I would have written '... are looking ...' but since I've written something alike a few years ago already I can't anymore). Me too. Smile

I hope so too, but I'm presently unable to book the travel and hotel. I put 90% probability in the registration form, but that may have been overly optimistic.

Unfortunately, I will not be there Sad
My computer just died a month ago.
I just replaced it and it eat a good part of the budget.

So next stop is Basel for me.

Patrice my friend, I am sorry to hear that. You will be greatly missed!!! Watch the YouTube videos when they will be posted there.

After attending the last several HHC meetings, not having Patrice around gives me the feeling that something is missing from the meeting.

We will miss you in Reno Patrice. But I promise we will toast you on at least one round at the bar. OK, tow rounds.

RE: Don't Miss the HHC2014 Conference
WARNING! The HHC 2014 hotel special room rate expires on September 5th!

If you are thinking about going to HHC 2014, but haven't made up your mind yet, please be aware that the special $99 room rate at the hotel is only available through September 5th, which is just a few days away! You'll probably still be able to get a room after that, but the price will probably be much higher. More details here: http://hhuc.us/2014/hotel.htm

RE: Don't Miss the HHC2014 Conference
Hi.....

HHC2014 Attendees - don't forget to bring whatever goodies you may have for the door-prize table. It's another opportunity to donate something you'd rather part with and possibly gain something you prefer.

See you in a few weeks,
Jake

RE: Don't Miss the HHC2014 Conference
hi Jake and all attendees:

I will be demonstrating an HP 41C card reader disassembly and repair. I will be replacing the pinch roller and dampening couple using the "book" as a guide. When completed the card reader (not the book) is going to the prize table!

I will be bringing about forty, six inch sections of the silicon fuel military spec tubing I use for the roller; for the attendees also.

Also chapter 6 "the HP 01 Cricket repair" of the book will be part of the cloud or thumb drive for attendees as well as my talk on "Cloud fed; Sprinkle and Strew."

See you there!

Geoff

RE: Don't Miss the HHC2014 Conference
Hi Geoff,

Thanks for all you'll present to the attendees. Will there also be a bookshop at the conference? IF TRUE THEN will it take online orders as well?
