I'm a fan of Calculator Culture's channel. The fx-61f is a highly sought calculator, and I always see it sold for at least a C-note if not much more.

Have you heard about the ElectriCalc Pro from Calculated Industries? I wonder how they compare.

They used to come up occasionally on eBay a few times a year, but in the last year or so, a lot of Japanese sellers have been trying to sell them at fairly high "Buy it now" prices. None of those have an English manual or an English quick reference card but some come with the Japanese ones.

RE: Casio fx-61F
There is no linear regression. A scientific model without linear regression... I want to say something about it, but I don't want to banned myself.

The most closed and well designed blind programmable from 80's is the fx-50F. There are
  • constants
  • 23 built-in scientific formula
  • programmable (2 programs)
  • programs can use other MODEs (like SD, LR, Base-n)
  • ALPHA input
  • form factor is superb (thin and small)
  • solar cell
  • after 40 years works well
