Why are POLY* functions unusable when CAS is disabled?
Hi,
As mentioned by Amrlxy19 in another thread (here), when CAS is disabled in exam mode, the numerical functions POLYROOT, POLYEVAL and POLYCOEF are also unusable, they return “syntax error”.

Are these functions based on CAS or is it to be considered as a bug?

Regards,
Thibault

I'm not sure but I think they're CAS based.
Disabling CX II CAS, polyRoots and polyEval are active while other commands (polyCoeffs, polyGcd, polyRemainder, etc.) are disabled.
Best,

Aries Wink
