9810 display labels

Hello -

I have a 9810 that got something splashed on the display window (before I got it) that softened the (I assume) screen-printed display labels. Fortunately, whatever it was didn't damage the plastic of the machine or the display window. Doing some searching on line, I found some vinyl transfer decals that might be the answer, but I don't know if the feature size will be too small for to be reproduced. I've contacted a vendor to see. Does anyone here have any other ideas, or experience with this problem? Thanks.
