What serial printer to use with HP 95/100/200LX?
Hi all,
I just wonder if anyone can recommend a serial printer, preferably battery powered, for the HP 95 LX (or HP 100/ HP 200LX)?

Regards,
Matti

Hi,
you could try the Kodak Diconix 150 or 180si, or any compatible device.
The Diconix units use the HP ThinkJet ink cartridge.

Yes, both are not built anymore, but hey, the LX's aren't either;-)

Not serial, and not battery powered, so possibly not at all what you're looking for, but an alternative to a serial printer is a printer with an IR port.

I used HP LaserJets with IR ports with my 200LX for years with great success, most often an HP LaserJet 6MP.

[My 6MP still works well (although I had the "rubber" parts replaced at HP Service about a decade ago). Sadly, though, I no longer have a usable 200LX -- I reluctantly decided it was too expensive to keep having the case plastics repaired.]
