I’m a dinosaur...cannot figure out how to get the Connectivity Kit to find and install the new firmware. I have the new firmware in: Libraries Documents HP Connectivity Kit Firmware.

How do I get the Connectivity Kit to find and install the 16,828 KB file?

Connectivity settings will give you the path to the right directory.
Inside you'll find Firmware.
Then either G1 or G2.
I ALWAYS save the old files (in OLD_G1) first
only then I overwrite = copy over the old files.

RE: 20021 Install Question
Assuming you have a Prime G2:

1. Close the ConnKit (CK) if it's running

2. Extract the contents of the new f/w .zip file from hpcalc.org into this folder: (delete any old files in there first)

C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Documents\HP Connectivity Kit\Firmware\PrimeG2

3. Connect the Prime to the USB cable

4. Start the CK

5.a. It should automatically prompt you to update your device - proceed

5.b If it doesn't prompt you, right-click on your connected Prime icon and select UPDATE from the menu

The new f/w is downloaded and automatically installs

6. Enjoy your updated Prime

RE: 20021 Install Question
Success! Our assistant engineer at the TV station (I am the chief meteorologist) was able to negotiate through the administrative privileges stuff that was standing in my way!
