And you can't even use it as a calculator!

Exactly how I felt when my bank (Sparkasse) introduced these and did away with the old tan lists. Barclays even ship new ones to Germany for free. Unfortunately I can't use them with the German bank.

This is my office at work. I challenge anyone to display more HP calculators per square cm.

I can honestly say that it does reduce my productivity. But as a software developer, my employer is already extracting 60 hours a week from me. I think it's the least they can do. Wink

I have random coworkers I don't even know that drop by to see the "crazy guy with all the calculators."

In case anyone is concerned, I carry insurance to guard against theft. It took some effort to convince my insurance agent that all that old junk is actually quite valuable.

Some empty space among DM1xCCs... shame on you! :)

I wish I had all that space available at work.

Well, not juding anyone, but I believe that having one of each model or accessory, more one spare, ok! Even two spares, acceptable... but 5 or more is complicated to understand. It would be better they are at other hands, as the number of people that know this HP world woud increase, making the group of followers stronger.

Disseminating knowledge is an important way to keep it alive. Calculators in shelves do not meet their goal.
So, when I got more than I need, even for playing, I sell and bring other people to HP World!

NOT JUDGING ANYONE, PLEASE.
Best wishes,
Artur

That's because the earliest version of the DM15CC was on my desk (along with a 41CX and an HP Prime).

Hi Dave.

I’m a Calcholic too. All started in 2007 when I wanted to buy a Sharp PC 1261 I cannot afford when I was a student in the 80’s.

And since nearly 12 calcs have joined.

RE: Hello. My name's Dave, and I'm a Calcoholic.
Hi Sylvain,

I spot a 71B EPROM programmer, does it work - do you have TWO Smile

Have a few EPROMs that I dream about - someday - to be able to program.

I am also a Calcoholic, but have focus my fifteen or so 71Bs in various versions and conditions

Well, also a 25C MIB and some 41s and a 35 v2 and 48 and 12C and 17B, BII and... oh yes, a 12C Platinum in a fancy wodden box which I got from a Friend at HP.

But the EPROMS - if only I could find a programmer :-|

This specific bookshelf is part of the collection series and calculators/peripherals are used/tested several times per year.

There are other shelves that are part of the day-to-day/frequent usage like this one:
