Nice one, Tugdual...
For 16usd asking price that is a overkill packaging. Look to the huge user guide... even with special instructions in case you live in California... well done, Casio!
But I wonder if the watch is shock resistant as much as water resistant...

RE: My favorite unboxing video
In the real world, as far as durability... mine looks like hell, it's been through three bands (and the latest (aftermarket) band required me to file part of the plastic body away to get it to fit), but it's gotten whacked against quite a lot of stuff (I'm a bit clumsy...) and still works fine, except for the timekeeping always running a bit fast.

Oh, and it's got the original battery.

From 2007.

And this is a movement that was designed in 1984, as far as I can tell.

Hysterical! I couldn't make it all the way through.

For those of you wishing you could experience this for yourself, the watch is available on TAS (131192264982) and is shipped from California. Remember, numerical accuracy is only guaranteed in California.

I think they have it on the wrong base; that definitely isn't one of the DataBank models. The manual is probably for the DBC-150 or similar, judging from the size and what I could see while he flipped through it.

RE: My favorite unboxing video
Only now I have realized that this Casio is a evolution of the original CA-53W used in the Back to the future movie!

RE: My favorite unboxing video
Casio has a habit of putting the CA53W in the Databank line even though it isn't one.

And, it's not just an evolution of it, it is it. The same model.

It can't be the same model, it looks like the same model.
If you open the original model and this new model you will the difference inside in the electronics.
And this current model is not the ca-53w, it is the ca-53w-1cr.

Just hilarious...
I was going to say why did he compare to a keyboard(I had forgotten that they made those too) and not a watch(like my pro-trek...) then out popped a calc watch... oh well...

...kind of reminds me of totalbiscuit too...
