HP Prime Crashes
Hi everyone,

I mentioned in another post that I had problems in my HP Prime with the Feb. 2018 firmware, so I decided to use the 2017 07 10 (12066) one. My problem now is that my calculator is very unstable. It crashes very very often, and in one occasion it erased all the memory, including my stored programs. A couple of weeks ago (with this same firmware), it went into a "reset loop", where it would reset by itself over and over again. I don't remember exactly how I was able to kill the loop.

One crash that I can replicate consistently is the following: if I go to CAS and then try to use the linsolve function with the example that comes with the calculator's help: (linsolve([x+y+z=1, x-y=2,...])) then it always crashes. Even if there's no other computation in CAS nor in Home, nor any other app.

Do you know what could be the problem?

RE: HP Prime Crashes
I'd try a disk format. Seems like you might have some funny data stored in the somewhere.

Although I work for HP, the views and opinions I post here are my own.
