There is always the chance that roundoff errors may occur or not, or they may be larger or lesser, depending on the way you do your calculation and, more important, on the numeric values of a particular case: Try P(25, 8) and get slightly low 43609103990 with your method and the correct 43609104000 with the other one. 10 digits is all you got on the 12C. This means that after several operations the final result may not have 10 exact digits. Dieter |
