I disagree here. You made extra assumptions that reduced the total number of cases without explaining why (or even if) the other case is equivalent to the two you considered. In other words, what about the cases for which your assumptions do not hold?

I am convinced all the infinite cases hold. I only chose a couple of cases I thought were easier to solve. I didn't try a generalization because I didn't think it was necessary. I might return to this problem, but not anytime soon. Meanwhile the solutions I have presented so far should be considered wrong, invalid and useless.
