Hi Namir, very promising! Do you have any stict proof of convergence? Also, interesting woul be an estimate for the achievable convergence rate (and how this depends on type/smoothness etc. of the function to be "rooted").

Anyways, am curious to read your paper and the comparison with the original algorithms.
