Does the case and card type Joe Horn mentions give speed in every aspect of usage or is the speed gain only in memory dumps / backups, or do we come to the typical trade off situations where the user needs to decide what is the most common situation for speed need to his / her usage.
I'm not partially interested of this matter, but I thought some clarification might be useful for random reader?

That said I'm satisfied with my kingston Transcent 2GB SD card I did happen to find from local store, supposedly for some industrial application (or calculator) where old pure SD cards are needed.
