In Wolfram Alpha if you calculate:
0.5 to binary - 0.3 to binary - 0.2 to binary you obtain in quad-precision (you have to click on "more" bottom right): 0000000000000000000000000000003c which is not 0, so 0.5-0.3-0.2<>0. I tried to compute (3.6 to binary)^2 - 4*(3.24 to binary) but Wolfram Alpha seems to have some problem interpreting the parenthesis. |
