Well, I can offer an opinion on that. 25 years ago I was quite happy with the display of my HP-28C and -28S and I would have been blown away by the HP 50g display. But serously, my eyesight is not what it was back then, and - having just bought a HP 50g - I _am_ struggling with the display.

I couldn't care less about colors, that is not what is important, but I would have loved for the display to have light somehow. That would make the calculator a LOT easier for me to use.
