Sounds like this woodstock is OK, but if you have others that won't start, the most common problem (excluding battery leakage damage) is a bad ACT (like the CPU) and recently a Forum member, Panamatik, introduced a replacement ACT with more RAM and other enhancements. I believe it works in all Woodstock models except the HP-27 (definitely 21, 25, 25C, 29C - not sure about the 22). Some hardware skills are needed but all users have reported positive results! More vitange HP machines saved from extinction. Thank you Panamatik!
