Like others on the forum I printed the overlay on inkjet photo paper and cut out the key holes by hand. Tedious work!

The 48/71/75 overlays are made of thin flexible plastic stock that's easily bent to put their tabs in the keyboard retention slots. Something like that would be more suitable than card stock, particularly in terms of wear if the ink can be protected.
