3.7 ENTER ENTER * +

Wink

lets see...

3.7 [ENTER] [ENTER] the stack has 3.7 and 3.7 in level 1 and 2 nothing in the command line
* now the stack has 13.69 in the level 1 and nothing else
+ trying to add 13.69 to nothing gives error.

RPN... Superior Smile

so i'd do 3.7 ENTER ENTER ENTER * + then i get 17.39 (using RPN)
or
3.7 x^2 3.7 +
17.39

but really this post is about a difference in 2 manuals that say the same thing in different ways. you don't have to press enter sometimes if you already have the number out of the command line and in the stack and your doing a math function to it.

Pressing [enter] is optional after entering a number, if the next key
pressed is an operation.

NOTE: pressing [Input] or [=] is optional after keying in a number, if the next key
pressed is an operation.

Thanks
