What is this "order of operation" cult now with math?

Basic problem is the avoidance of masses of brackets confusing animal minds, leading to conventions to weed out "unnecessary" uses.

If only someone could invent a notation dispensing with brackets & manifesting clarity - the World awaits such a measure.
