As was the case in my original DOLIST version of the roman numeral program. It depended on the characters being deleted (in the case of 0) or simply not duplicated at all (in the case of 1).

NDUPN is actually available in the ROM of the 48 series, but you would have to use SYSEVALs to gain access to it from UserRPL. In a controlled situation, it may make sense to use them if you are careful.
