Puzzle: sequence without multiples of 3
What is the simplest formula that can generate: 1,2, 4,5, 7,8, 10,11 ... ?
In other words, sequence never generate multiples of 3. f(1) = 1, f(2) = 2, f(3) = 4, f(4) = 5, f(5) = 7, f(6) = 8 ... What is f(10^6) ? |
