Very nice! This is my attempt to translate your program for the HP-11C

I had revised my Python code after your HP-11C translation. Now:
1. hi = lo + 1 instead of 1/0 (infinity), thus saved 1 iteration
2. Both abs() calls are removed

For reference, this was how I removed the restriction (see Farey Pair): Continued Fractions without Tears
