I've owned 3 HP-38C's. One I wore out, another I gave as a gift and the other I am currently using. While its successor, the HP-12C is overall a superior product, I prefer the vertical format and the red LED.

I'm with you there! Portrait orientation, red LED display and /,X,-,+ on the left-hand side of the keyboard where nature intended them to be.
