-Removal of plastic screen an emphatic NO. Adhesive used bonds screen to shell, risk cracking. Heat does not help.

-Disassemble shells to gain access to screen from PCA side. Can of air and blow. Blow from a distance as some canned air may leave a condensate on inside of screen. If still a problem and OCD is a disorder then removal by de-soldering the LCD panel and then physically clean. Will not work on half nut as screen is integral to the PCA..
