Mark: A while back, I bought a 10X Stereographic Microscope with a large working height for soldering SMT parts. It really helps to get a good look at what you are doing, and the stereographic scope gives you depth perception which is needed to coordinate the positioning of the solder and iron in 3 dimensions. I also use various methods of holding down the tiny parts to have both hands free for soldering. Thanks for sharing what works.
