Follow Up:
Needed paper for a recently acquired 82240B. Went to the local Staples but they didn't have the 3-pack and the 9-pack was more than I wanted to spend and more rolls than I'd ever use. Right next to it was a 3-pack of 130 foot rolls and I remember reading about spooling off the excess and using it later. Check the label carefully. It must be thermal paper.

On the plus side I now know how to take the printer apart.

Edit: Look for my upcoming Classified for 2 1/2 rolls of 2.25 inch x 130 foot non-thermal paper.
