RE: HP 10BII Setting a Sales Price
Example Usage of this type of problem " Setting a Sales Price"

All Total Cost of this products is $18,500.00 that make it to 500 units.

I want 35% profit how much should I charge for each unit.

Total Cost = $18,500

Number of Units = 500

RTN = 35%

Steps to calculate:

18500 [รท] 500 [x] [(] 1 [+] 35 [%] [)] [=] display answer 49.95

Answer: $49.95

To check answer:

While 49.95 is on display [x] Number of Unit (500)
49.95 [x] 500 [=] 24975

18500 [CST]
24975 [PRC] [MU] display answer 35

So the answer return to 35% profit as expected.

Remark:
To quickly check answer another way by the use of the [%CHG]
Steps: 18500 [INTPUT] 24975 [%CHG] display answer 35
