Any way to add "Wikipedia style" inline citations / references to posts / articles?

I have a number of posts and one article that make use of citations / references. The only way I've been able to insert said references is to just use a "[url]" BBcode markup tag. Is there any way to get "Wikipedia style" superscript inline citations / references instead of having to use the url tag?

I apologize if this is a stupid question.
