RE: How many calculators can be connected in a classroom?
Hello,
There is a hard limit of 254 calculators per antennae, This is imposed by the protocol... However, with around 20ms "on air time" slots per calculator, this means that a calculator will be able to send only 1 burst (around 900 bytes) every 5s... Which will not be a good user experience! And this is hoping that all goes well... There is however NO limits to the number of antennae attached to a single computer, so there is no limits to the number of calculators that could be attached to a single computer, besides the computers memory, so this will be quite resource intensive. Cyrille Although I work for the HP calculator group, the views and opinions I post here are my own. I do not speak for HP. |
