The simplified result x > -3 AND 3 > x looks correct to me.

The 2.1.14181 (2018-10-16) firmware gives an initial result of x >= -3 AND x <=3 AND x <> -3 AND x <> 3, and simplifies it to x >= -3 AND 3 >= x, which seems incorrect. (I guess it just removes single points, even though they are at the extremities of the set.)
