I think you are right with respect to loop commands that have an implied structure. But if you have a bunch of computations and stack manipulations etc. then the lines get broken up in unhelpful ways. Exactly how that is done I can't tell. I do know my linefeeds are often not respected and lines that I code are broken up in strange ways.
