thanks a lot fr your reply. I never had the problem with the motor coupling but, while thinking about the problem, I wondered if heat shrink tubing (Schrumpfschlauch in Deutsch) would do the trick?

Conrad is the right address for silicon gasoline hose. I bought mine there, too. I took 4,5 mm outer diameter and ca. 2mm inner diameter. To get the size of the original tranportation roll, I put one piece of gasoline hose on the axis and a second piece of gasoline hose over the first pice. It's a bit tricky but it works perfectly.
