Indeed, the people admitting students and checking the calculators carried-in are probably much older than the youngest HP-15C*, and the body that evaluates such things would probably never consider a 38-year old model - "certainly such an 'old design' would not be useful today?" Hmpf!

* - And before anyone asks what about the 15CLE, the same thoughts apply to copies of a 38-year old design, even copies with bugs.

Still, it's a good opportunity to familiarize oneself with the permitted calculators. The more, the merrier!
