I had also forgotten the Athena character. As I recall, there was quite a lot of eye-candy in the show.

If you haven't seen the prequel, Caprica, it is worth a watch. I have not watched the remake of BG, although it hit my radar again the other evening while I was browsing the Evil Empire website. I do admire Katee Sackhoff and that might make watching an episode or two of the remake worthwhile.

The remake of BG is a far, FAR better show, with actual writing and acting, unlike the original. It is loosely the same broad plot, but nearly every detail is different, and IMHO, better. This is a dark, serious show that requires and deserves to be watched closely, paying attention to detail. Much to enjoy here, check it out!
