I have some HHP RAM/ROM modules they use a 1LJ4 chip to interface between the the industry standard memory and the Saturn bus. As near as I can tell this chip only supports soft configuration but there are pins on the chip that do not appear to be used in the modules I have, so I guess it is possible they could support hard addressed ROMs but without chip documentation it is hard to know. Are these front port ROM modules programmed through the Saturn bus connector or do you connect directly to the EPOM chip inside?

The desired files are copied to the RAM in the programmer using the 71B. The 71 is turned off, then the Program button is pressed and the contents of the programmer RAM is burned into the EPROM.
