35s program checksums

The batteries in my HP 35s died recently, and I had to key in all my programs and equations again. That's no great problem, but I notice that most of the program checksums are different than before, although I'm certain the code in each program (except one) is exactly the same.

I know Pauli's famous HP 35s bug list says "checksums are meaningless", but I'm wondering has anybody here managed since to figure out any consistency at all in them?
