Hand Held Products 71 M/M Module Holder
I have designed and 3D printed a replacement case and cover for the Hand Held Products 71 M/M series of card reader port memory modules. If you have a naked module or your original case is broken or lost this may be of interest to you.

I re-designed the module cover so that the "side wings" are thicker and hopefully less fragile.

Here are some photos:

This will include the two halves of the case, the cover with the anti-static foam inserts as in the original, and an optional custom engraved insert (you supply a PDF of your artwork or a sketch and I will make a final design for your approval).

These were designed around the HHP Modules. I don't know if the CMT Modules will fit.

I will not be putting these on eBay. If you are interested, send me a PM for further details.

RE: Hand Held Products 71 M/M Module Holder
Just in case it applies, from the HHP manual:
  • Opening the case
The 71 M/M's are enclosed in plastic cases which
have been designed to allow easy access inside the
Modules. Hand Held Products has utilized a
specially-designed adhesive tape which acts as a
hinge for the case. Do not remove the tape-the
case opens at the opposite end.

My design has no latch mechanism like the original. There are tabs at each end that keep the two halves in registration with one another. Some sort of tape could be used to hold them together but I don't use any. When the module is in the calculator the back cover holds the module halves securely in place and when it is out the cover holds them in place.
