Connecting 50g to Win 10 64-Bit
I have Windows 10 64-bit and have disabled driver signing enforcement to allow the HP USB driver to be installed. There's no error showing in Device Manger for the HPx9G+ DEVICE.

I'm trying to run the Calculator Connectivity Kit Version 2.3 Build 2439. It can't see the calculator. I start the Xmodem server on the calculator and click OK. The message comes up "Looking for Calculator" but it's never found.

Also, I'm trying to run the newRPL Desktop and that can't find the calculator, either. I used to connect to the HP software with Win 7 but that was a long time ago. I may have forgotten any tricks necessary. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any pointers you may give.

Are you sure the 50g is not still in IR mode?

It happens. More often than most folks will admit.

RE: Connecting 50g to Win 10 64-Bit
newRPL act as an HID device and needs no driver. If both desktop version and calc are the latest releases everything should work plug and play.

Faulty cable? USB hub?

Beware that I don't think that newRPL can communicate with plain HP50g!

Bingo! Right you are. Give that man a cigar!

As I said it's been a while! Now I just have to figure out how to send newRPL over.

Thank you!

Well, that's good news twice.

1. Problem solved.
2. You admitted it. That's better than most folks... Big Grin
