Looking for HP Plamtop drivers for Quatech SPP-100
Hello, everybody.

I can't find HP palmtop drivers for my PCMCIA card with parallel port (Quatech SPP-100).
The driver is called spp-hp.exe, according to
http://web.archive.org/web/2009042216223...ciapar.php

If you have it, please be so kind to share it.

Thanks in advance,
Vitaly

I can't vouch for this site or the authenticity of the file on offer, but this looks pretty convincing:

https://www.driverguide.com/driver/detai...rid=617545

It's a WinZip self-extracting archive, which I extracted with 7-Zip (just to be safe). It contains two files, spp100pd.sys, and spp100pt.exe.

Based on some of the ASCII strings embedded in the files, it sure looks like this is it.

Quote:$The PCMCIA card is not ready.
$Card has invalid CIS - no manufacturer tuple located.
$I/O base address must be specified.
$IRQ level must be specified.
$Driver does not support dynamic de-registration.
$Driver de-registration failed.
$Driver already installed.
$Driver is not installed.
$No multiplex IDs available. Driver cannot install.
$Environment has been modified. Driver cannot be removed.
$Error freeing memory. System unstable.
$DOS version too old. Driver cannot install.
$Requires HP 100LX family machine.

Thank you so much!
I attached this file (in ZIP format) just in case somebody else would need it.
Beside that I found another driver for this card written by a Japanese guy. I also attached this driver.

Attached File(s)
.zip  SPP020.ZIP (Size: 3.66 KB / Downloads: 6)
.zip  spp-hp.zip (Size: 27.87 KB / Downloads: 8)
