HP50g emulator? - salvomic - 11-19-2017 09:34 PM hi, is there a convenient (usable, maybe HP made...) emulator for HP50g in iOS? Thank you, Salvo RE: HP50g emulator? - Helix - 11-20-2017 05:46 PM I use an old version of Emu50g on an iOS 7 device. It runs perfectly, except that port 2 does not work, so I had to store my programs in port 1 and change some user key definitions. I am very satisfied with this app. I've not found other 50g emulators for iOS. I'll see for it soon. I thought also HP had a such emulator, but maybe it is not in their planes at the moment. Only a question: has m48+ a simple way to pass data between iOS (Cloud?) and the app, as Emu50g (via http)? I hope yes... EDIT: installed! you are right: they are very similar... also the server RE: HP50g emulator? - salvomic - 11-21-2017 08:17 AM (11-21-2017 12:29 AM)moonbeam Wrote: Neither one is cloud-aware, both have a built-in http server. As far as I can tell, Emu50g is a clone of m48+. I wonder if anybody here knows more about the provenance of the respective apps. I agree. I tested a bit, yesterday and they are too similar, also the velocity. Only the HP50 skin has in the iPhone a row less in the display, both are better on the iPad and in iPad Pro both are a bit quicker. Salvo |
