CORVALLIS SILICON WAFER - ENRIQUE VELASCO - 11-17-2017 09:47 PM Hi, I'm new here and it is amazing all information i can see around.. And i will start with my first question... I do have a 4" Silicon wafer ( See photo ) , under microscope it reads: Hp Made in USA Corvallis The date is not clear, i guess it is from 1986 and an umbrella like logo. anybody knows more about this ? Just a guess but the layout of the individual dies in four uniform quadrants would suggest a memory device likely a ROM since it was made in Corvallis. Is there any numbers on the die other than the year? Paul. |
