hp-46 keyswitch - Duane Hess - 03-06-2017 08:40 PM

Hi:

As usual, "it seems to me I remember a post" and "can't seem to find it" strikes again!

Anyone know of a source for the HP-46 keyboard switch, other than pulling from broken units? Seem to recall a semi-recent post about keyboard switches, but can find nothing. Anyone happen to know the HP part number? Seems most any info is useful.

I have one with a broken keystem.

thanks.

*** I should clarify, by keyboard switch, I do not mean the on/off switch, but the switch under each of the keypad keys.

thanks

Do you mean to remember the thread titled
"HP 9825 keyboard restoration"?
Lately on this forum?

Yes, that is the post I was trying to locate. Guess I'm not overly observant!! couldn't spot it for anything.

The keys look totally different physically, but will check into the web sites they mention. My key works, just the stem is snapped, so the key cannot attach to the keyboard.

thanks Andi!
