Rechargeable N-cells - sjthomas - 09-25-2016 02:09 AM

Does anybody know of a source for either NiCad or NiMH N-cells which doesn't require a purchase of 1,000 units (or thereabouts) or cost an arm and a leg?

Good luck!

These N-to-AA adapters make it easy to charge NiMH N-cells in a normal sized AA charger. They fit and work perfectly.

...with the usual Caveat: Do not use chargers with a current more than 200 mA. The IPC–1 charger that has been mentioned here several times fits nicely for this purpose.

I can personally vouch for both the N-AA adapters and the IPC-1 charger. I purchased both on the advice I received here, and all are working well for me.

UPDATE: My mistake: I purchased a La Crosse Technology BC-700 Alpha Power Battery Charger. Sorry for clouding up the discussion.
