Restore error: SOLVE apps come back as empty FUNCTION - zsoltvec - 08-27-2016 01:27 PM

When I restore my backup zip file, my personnal SOLVE applications come back as FUNCTION (that are empty).
Has anyone met this problem and found the solution?
Thanks for your help.

Which version was your calculator when you made the backups? Things should pull forward versions, but once saved do not go backwards to older versions if they have changed in the meantime.

Thanks for your advice.
My calculator version I found by means of the connkit:
App version: 20160414 v10077
OS version: V0.042.570

Also, in the connkit left window all applications (personal and integrated) are shown with the FUNCTION icon. Quite strange

Its OK !
I upgraded today my connkit with the 20160414 version and it is OK now for restoring my personal Solver applications also. Smile

When I try to install the 2016_04_14 Virtual calculator version, at launch trial I get the following error message: mfc120u.dll file missing
How should I correct this problem?

Hello,

You need to install the x86 c++ redistributable (NOT the 64 bit one). The installer has that packaged within itself, but sometimes it thinks it is already installed and doesn't install it.

vcredist_x86.exe is the name of the one you should download and install.
