Suggestion: In General Library Forum - separate RPL and RPN - Marcel Samek - 12-13-2013 07:45 PM

I like the idea of a general category for software, instead of splitting every calculator out separately. However, I would find it preferable to having a separate RPN and RPL category since the two are quite different.

But you also have HP-75/71 BASIC programs and LEX files.

I think we can expect enough RPL postings to warrant a separate RPL section in the library. That still leaves the "General" category for all the less frequent types of library postings.

I thought of that, but only 8 of the programs in the old library are for RPL machines, so it didn't seem to be a great subcategory at this time. If the RPL programs start to flood in, then we can break them out.

I agree. When it comes to RPL programs, Eric already provides a library resource that does not need to be duplicated here.

Keeping it simple is best. You already have people posting discussions in the library sections. The fewer the better.
