Limits, results - iceruam - 06-10-2016 06:14 PM

So I just got my handheld prime. I was doing some simple limit problems. My 50g gives the answer -(-4/7) but my prime gives me 355309/621820 in CAS mode, 4/7 in home mode. My windows version gives me 4/7 in CAS and home modes and my ti89 gives me 4/7 all radian mode.
Limit x -> 0 ((sin(-4x))/(-7x))

I changed the CAS settings (Page 2)to the same as the windows version (default)(25, 1, 100, 0.000000000001, 1E-15, 60)
now I get 471068/824515
I am assuming these settings are affecting it, what values should I be using in the CAS settings page 2? and no, I did not note the original setting on the handheld but I think I only changed Rec Eval and Newton
Or where else should I look?
Thanks

the limit returns 4/7 both in Home and CAS.
Please, check for your CAS settings (shift-CAS) and check Exact, then try again, it should works better.

Salvo

Nope, I have changed several settings nothing seems to change the result

Very strange. I've been unable to get anything but the 4/7 here no matter where or what I try...

Does it still happen after executing the command restart() in the CAS screen? How about after a complete reboot? (on-symb together will restart)

I would make sure I have the latest firmware revision installed.
