Display problem with HP 48G - abourgault - 03-22-2016 01:01 PM Hi, I don't know really well that calculator but if I multiply Pi by 2 instead of showing 6.2832... as a result it shows the equation 2*π. How do I revert it to show the result? Thank you for your help. How do I revert it to show the result? Answer #1: -2 CF Answer #2: [Left-shift] [CST], [MISC], [SYM] --> toggles flag -2 on and off, thus controlling whether constants (like pi) are returned symbolically or numerically. Answer #3: Press ->NUM (that's [Left-shift] [EVAL]) to turn any symbolic result into a number. |
