Can we have a "Mark thread read" button? - BruceH - 01-26-2014 01:41 PM

Can we have a "mark thread read" button from the forum list page, please?

Often there are threads that I want to ignore but the only way to mark them read (and so stop them appearing in bold font) that I can find is to go into the thread first and read the latest post.

You could read the posts you are interested in and then use the blue round button with the white arrow to mark all posts of that specific forum as read.

Cheers
Thomas

But then you have to keep track of the ones you want to avoid. Surely the whole point of a computer is to make these kinds of things easy?

I looked around the myBB mods and didn't spot anything like this though I didn't do an exhaustive search. So I asked, and so far the only answer given was like Thomas'.

I suspect a mod of this type might require database mods which I would tend to resist unless this was a very popular request.
