HP-97 printer middle gear - Pcip - 08-30-2015 09:57 PM

Hi all,

I recently picked up a very nice HP-97, but it had the infamous printer middle gear cracked. It actually broke at me at my first attempt to operate the printer.

I have read that about a year ago several members have joined together to have a very good aluminum alternative produced, but I haven't been able to locate the seller.

If any member here has a spare gear that he or she would be willing to sell me it would be greatly appreciated. I live in Italy.

Thanks in advance,
Paolo

Hi Paolo,

I was the member that got the "band together". I have a couple gears left. I'd sell you one if no one else has any left.

BTW, if others are interested, I'd buy a few again. We would need to get at least 50 gears ordered to make it worth it.

Bump de bump, bump!

Any news, willing to increase order if that will help, maybe put some on the prize desk for HHC2016 next year!

The last order was for 50 pieces. It doesn't look like we are close to that.

I've asked the machine shop for a per price cost for a 25 piece order.

50 pcs was about $10 each.
