HP Prime - Home view imaginary numbers error message? (resolved) - CR Haeger - 05-05-2015 12:15 PM

Hello,

It seems that entering negative numbers under a radical (i.e. sqrt(-8)) yields Error: Invalid input in the Home screen.

This does not create any errors in CAS --> sqrt(2)*2*i

Seems to happen whether in algebraic or textbook mode. Software version 2014 11 24 (6940)

Thanks

Hi,
did you mark the option "Allow complex output from real input" at the "Home Settings"?

Greetings
Dirk.

Thanks, that did the trick.
